Get Out And About . . .
People with autism experience many different challenges, and getting out and about in the community is just one of them. The Model Me Going Places iPad App has a number of locations (grocery store, playground, doctor, mall, restaurant, birthday party) each with a slideshow full of the appropriate behavior for wherever you are and those all important social skills. It’s a little like MyVoice but not quite so clever, but it’s certainly a good place to start for anyone who wants something simple for starters.
