Everybody is encouraged to recycle these days, and some of us are just so much better at it than others. You might be surprised at just how many things you can recycle, which is how this great app for iPad, My Recycle List comes in. It’s a great idea which uses a GPS system to tell you where you can take your different items for recycling in your own local area (takes a lot of the leg work out of it). There’s a user friendly data-base which has information on 120,000 different recycling locations in the United States and Canada, you can search for drop off centers by zip code or use the interactive map. You’ll be able to tell at a glance which locations accept stuff like plastic, paper, metal, household appliances, glass, hazardous substances . . . everything really. Come on, we know you recycle a little but with this information there’s no excuse not to recycle a whole lot more!
