Evernote iPad App – What Do YOU Do With It?
Evernote iPad App – What Do YOU Do With It
Evernote iPad App is probably one of the most useful apps you could wish for (and tops lots of “favorites” lists), but what do YOU do with it? The possibilities are almost endless you know, let’s take a look at a few ideas . . . some of them you’ll have thought of, some of them you won’t and some of them you simply won’t need . . . but there’s no harm in looking.
Evernote In The Kitchen
“Staying in” is the new “going out” according to many people, well, many people simply can’t afford to eat out as much as they used to and are getting their social kicks by having their friends around for dinner. Good old home cooking is also making a comeback, thanks to the 3 million cookery programs, magazines, DVD’s and books which are published every week (well, it seems like that anyway), so what’s this got to do with your iPad or, more specifically, with Evernote. I’ll tell you . . . Evernote is the perfect place to store new recipes, you can file them under nothing more original than in a “Recipes” file, or if you’re really keen you can have separate files for starters, soups, main courses etc. Evernote iPad app – keeping you organized every step of the way.
Declutter with Evernote
Evernote iPad App is just the best way in the world to declutter your life and become more paperless. Simply scan any important documents, invoices, receipts, statements etc and keep them in your own Evernote account arranging them in notebooks and tags. Do remember though that (as yet) it isn’t password protected so don’t leave it lying around loaded with top secret information . . . but it really can help you to become free of paper and stop you from using your utility bills as a coffee cup coaster (how much do we owe??? There’s a brown stain covering the most important part).
Evernote for Inspiration
You know when you get those really brilliant ideas, usually whilst you’re miles away from your computer and by the time you get home you can’t quite remember how it was all going to work . . . well why not name yourself an Evernote notebook “Inspiration”, then when you have some you can keep a record of it quick before it melts back into the depths of your mind. Maybe you hear a particularly inspirational quote which you need to keep handy for when “work fatique” sets in . . . well, pop it into your Evernote Inspiration file. Here’s one to get you started: “I am the greatest. I said that even before I knew I was” – no prizes for guessing who said that.
Evernote for Lists
Evernote iPad App is great for people who like to write lists. Some people are serial list writers, others think that they can keep things in their head, which they do, until they forget. Of course, there are also those who spend so much time writing lists that they list the lists they need to write, and those who religiously write a shopping list but routinely forget to take it with them to the store (not mentioning any names here). Anyway, back to Evernote, it’s a great place to keep lists about what’s important in your life . . . your favorite books you’ve read, your favorite music or, my personal favorite (which I haven’t actually started yet, but I’ve got a few ideas in my head), my “Bucket List” – stuff to do before I die. #1 Swim with Dolphins, #2 book swimming lessons, better learn to swim first, all those stories about them saving drowning people might not be 100% accurate . . .
Evernote Keeping You On Track
Evernote iPad App is also a great place to make a “list” of your resolutions and goals . . . resolutions aren’t only for New Year you know, you can set yourself goals whatever the time of year, and then check out what they were and whether you’ve achieved them. Remember, as Lao Tzu said “the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”, (but you do have to take that single step to get you started).
So there are just a few ideas about how you can use your Evernote iPad App but I’m sure that there are thousands more . . . what do YOU do with it?
