Have you ever docked your iPad expecting to come back a little later to find it fully charged and . . . nothing. Well, you are not alone, because the iPad simply will not charge if it’s connected to some USB docks, or, in fact, even the ports on some of the Notebooks. You’ve got to plug it into a USB port with high power, either by using a powered USB dock or simply checking the specs of your computer. Sometimes the USB port on the front of computers are pretty low powered and you’ve got to plug it in around the back.
