How to Restrict Spotlight Searches on Your iPad
If you swipe left on the home screen of your iPad you’ll find the Spotlight search. It seaches for everything by default . . . songs, podcasts, events and apps. If you don’t want it to search everywhere but restrict the areas then here’s how you do it . . . go to Settings -> General -> Spotlight Search and just make sure that only the ones you want are checked.
Yes I know he’s got an iPhone 4, but the idea is the same.
